Mental Health First Aider Training

Mental health is very real in our magical profession.  Regardless of  size, your  business is about your people…

New for 2020, Standards International is delighted to provide a Two-Day Mental Health First Aider Training workshop.

More information about the workshop’s content can be found here.

Everyone who completes the course will receive:
• A manual to refer to whenever you need it
• A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health
• A certificate of attendance to say you are a Mental Health First Aider

Training involves a  mix of group activities, presentations and discussions, and each session is built around a Mental Health First Aid Action Plan.

Our trainer, Sarah Ambrose, is a Business Psychologist and Mental Health First Aid instructor with extensive experience working in financial services both in London and New York. She is a passionate advocate for wellbeing and mental health best practice, advising and supporting organisations invested in changing culture to support, enhance and create robust workplace wellbeing environments.

In Sarah’s words, “Mental Health First Aid training helps support wellbeing proactively and minimise the impact of mental ill health on work and life.  Quality mental health training and education, underpinned by a robust wellbeing strategy gives people the tools to keep themselves healthy and support each other.”
